Psalm 73:26

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Physical and emotional failure are honestly admitted. In that failure God Himself becomes the strength of the heart and the lasting portion. When depression makes both body and spirit feel depleted, this confession relocates the source of strength outside the self and into the eternal sufficiency of God.
