Sadness Grief and Discouragement

Selected Sub-Tab

1 Peter 5:7

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Anxiety and sadness frequently intertwine. The reason given for casting the anxiety is simple and profound: He cares. The care is personal. This short verse cuts through the lie that one's pain is too small or too messy for God's attention. Everything can be handed over because the Receiver is already invested in the sufferer's well-being.
