Proverbs 10:4

"Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth."

Hard, consistent work is presented as a normal means God uses to supply needs. When finances are strained, this verse calls us away from both despair and get-rich-quick schemes toward faithful effort. Diligence is not self-reliance that excludes God; it is the practical expression of trusting Him to bless the work of our hands.
