Proverbs 28:20

"A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished."

Faithfulness, consistent integrity and diligence over time, is the path God blesses. Eager, impatient grasping after wealth carries its own consequences. When circumstances feel slow or difficult, this verse encourages steadfastness rather than compromise or frantic striving.
