Hebrews 13:5

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'"

Freedom from the love of money is linked directly to contentment and to the unbreakable promise of God's presence. The reason we can be content with present resources, whether scarce or sufficient, is that God Himself will never abandon us. His presence is the ultimate security that money can never supply.
