Selected Sub-Tab
Proverbs 6:6-8
"Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest."
The ant models diligent, forward-looking saving without needing external pressure. Scripture here affirms the wisdom of preparing in seasons of abundance for seasons of scarcity. Trusting God does not cancel out prudent planning; rather, the two work together. The ant's quiet industry is held up as a rebuke to laziness and a positive pattern for building reserves.
