Psalm 16:8
"I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken."
A fixed gaze on the Lord produces stability. Anxiety shakes the inner life by fixing attention on threats or uncertainties. This verse offers the alternative practice: continually setting the Lord before one's eyes so that, with Him at the right hand, the heart remains unshaken.
