Psalm 27:1
"The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?"
Two rhetorical questions flow from the Lord's identity as light, salvation, and stronghold. When the Lord occupies these roles, the objects of fear lose their power to dominate. Anxiety shrinks in the presence of this reality.
