Thankfulness

Selected Sub-Tab

Jonah 2:9

"But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, Salvation comes from the Lord."

From inside the fish, Jonah offers grateful praise and acknowledges that salvation belongs to the Lord. Even in a place of discipline and distress, thanksgiving is possible. This models gratitude that is not dependent on comfort but on the recognition of God's saving power.
