Thankfulness

Selected Sub-Tab

Psalm 100:4

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name."

Approaching God begins with thanksgiving. The psalm frames gratitude as the proper doorway into worship. Whether in personal prayer or corporate gathering, starting with thanks reorients the heart away from complaints or requests and toward recognition of who God is and what He has already done.
