Raising Children
Scripture and encouragement for intentionally raising children in the Lord.
Selected Sub-Tab
Ephesians 6:4
"Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."
Parents are warned against harshness, inconsistency, or provocation that breeds bitterness, while being charged to raise children through deliberate training and teaching centered on the Lord. In difficult seasons, when a child's behavior tests patience, this verse calls for self-control and purposeful discipleship rather than reactive anger, keeping the long-term goal of godly formation in view.
