Psalm 103:13

"As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him."

God's own compassion toward His children becomes the pattern and the comfort for human parents. When parents feel depleted or fail, they can look to the Father who understands and shows compassion. This both models the heart parents should cultivate and assures them of God's tender care for them in the struggles of parenting.
