John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Jesus gives a peace distinct from the world's temporary calm. He addresses troubled and fearful hearts directly. This peace is a gift rooted in His presence and finished work, available even when external circumstances remain hard.
